Below the eagle the words "Silber 625", silver 625‰, appears to avoid any confusion with the coin minted in cupronickel. Representation in the center of the room of a reconstruction of a skeleton of the bird Archaopteryx, recognized as one of the first birds, made from the specimen discovered in 1861 in Germany. All around the bird, at the edge of the scroll, the inscription "150 JAHRE ENTDECKUNG DES URVOGEIS", 150 years of the discovery of the Archaeopteryx. To the left of the bird the inscription "SOLNHOFEN EICHSTATT VOR 150 MIO." indicates the place of the discovery of the fossil in the limestone quarries and its dating to more than 150 million years...
