There are: the image of Ilya Muromets aircraft, as for its development in 1913 Sikorsky became well known all over the world; above, against the relief background, the semicircular inscription Національний банк України (National Bank of Ukraine) and the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine thereunder, below - the coin issue year 2009, face value 2 ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnias) and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Revers

There is a portrait of Sikorsky dressed in the airman uniform; to the right, against the background of Leonardo da Vinci's drawing, there is the bow-shaped inscription: ІГОР СІКОРСЬКИЙ (Ihor Sikorskyi) together with indication of the years of his life: 1889-1972.
