Above the State Emblem, there is an inscription: УКРАЇНА and 1998. Under the picture, there are the following designations: 10 ГРИВЕНЬ - coin face value (in two lines); 31,1 - coin weight (at the left); Ag 925 (at the right).

Revers

There is a composition, made of a depiction of a stone steppe idol and a dynamic group of animals-inhabitants of the Reserve. Above the picture, around the circumference there is an inscription: АСКАНІЯ-НОВА (Askania-Nova). At the composition lower part, there is a depiction of Falz-Fain's family emblem and an circumference inscription: 100 РОКІВ. (100 Years)
