Avers

There is depicted the composition made of a guelder-rose, plants and a towel. Upon the background of it there is an inscription: 2005, the coin issue year; in the center of the composition there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine, under it there are Hetman's symbols of power and a Cossacks sabre. On its left and right there are conventionalized flowers and birds amidst of which there are inscriptions: on the silver coin: УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, (Ukraine /10/ hryvnia), as well as Ag 925, designation of metal and its weight in fineness. Revers

There is a multi-figured composition depicting a reception of a newly-married couple by their parents. They are holding an icon and weddings round loaf in their hands; above there is the Protection of the Virgin. To the right there is a semicircular inscription: ПОКРОВА (Protection of the Virgin).
