There are depicted a roll with the small National Emblem of Ukraine, inscriptions: 2002, УКРАЇНА, 2, ГРИВНІ (Ukraine/ 2002 /2 hryvnia) and characters of "Musicians" fable, as well as the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Revers

There is a half-length portrait of Hlibov sitting at the table with a quill at his hand. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ЛЕОНІД ГЛІБОВ (Leonid Hlibov) (to the right) and his years of life 1827-1893 (to the left).
