In the centre, on the crossing of a sward and a sabre – a cartouche with the inscription in four lines: «625 ЛЕТИЕ КУЛИКОВСКОЙ БИТВЫ» (THE 625TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE ON KULIKOVO FIELD), above it – galloping horsemen armed with swords and pikes, behind them – a town with an orthodox temple, before them – two flying birds.
