There are depicted: the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above, the map of Europe with the inscriptions КИЇВ (Kyiv) and WARSZAWA (Warsaw) against the background whereof there is the enameled image of the official UEFA Euro 2012 logo in color; under the map there is indicated the coin face value 500/ГРИВЕНЬ (500/hryvnias); along the coin circumference there are depicted silhouettes of architectural monuments of the cities, where the final tournament matches are to take place, and figurines of football players together with indication of the match dates.
