Avers

On the front side of the coin in the central part on the mirror surface is depicted an element of the headdress - the protoma of the winged horses with the horns of the mountain goat making up the headhole emblem of the kulah-khood. In the lower part, the inscription "1000 ТЕҢГЕ" is located in two lines and denotes the denomination of the coin, under the nominal value the number "2001" denoting the year of coinage with two points along the edges. On the circumference there is an inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English. Revers
