Beschreibung
1 Crown aus Vereinigtes Königreich. Ausgegeben 1887. Geprägt in Gold. Durchmesser 40.5 mm, Gewicht 0 g.
- Avers
- Large left-facing portrait of Queen Victoria as a young monarch, uncrowned but her hair bound with two fillets, each without ornamentation, ending in a pony tail, closely copied from the Wyon design struck in London at the beginning of the reign. A flat six-pointed star appears centred below the portrait. (Victoria by the Grace of God Queen of the Britains Defender of the Faith)
- Revers
- Order of the Garter crest supported by a crowned lion and a unicorn in chains, surrounded by an intricately detailed bowed wreath. On each side, a ring of beads outlines the raised rim, which is sharply squared off. (Shame on he [who] thinks evil of it God and my right)
