- Youthful bare head of the river-god Anapos left. Anapos was the partner of the nymph Cyane, who both witnessed Hades' abduction of Persephone and tried to prevent it; Hades turned Cyane into a spring on the site of Syracuse, and Anapos into a river in southern Sicily.
