- Avers
- In the center, the electorate's coat of arms: within an oval, baroque shield, crowned, with the center divided into 4 parts, which are the arms of the Wittelsbach family and of the Rhine Palatinate, with the Imperial Orb (title of arch-senechal) in the heart; the whole supported by two lions at the feet and the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece below. Latin legends around the edges and vintage just below the coat of arms.
- Revers
- Representation of the Virgin and Child, patron saint of Bavaria. Seated on a waxing moon and clouds, holding a scepter in her right hand and the child in her left arm, face turned towards him; all on a radiant sun. Latin legends around the edges.
