"Ghana" over its coat of arms: A shield divided into four quarters by a cross. In the top left-hand quarter is a crossed linguist staff and ceremonial sword. In the top right-hand quarter is a heraldic castle on a heraldic sea. In the bottom two quarters there is a cocoa tree and a mine shaft. In the center of the cross is a lion. Over the shield is a five-pointed star. ???Freedom and Justice??? on a scroll under the shield. Two eagles are holding the shield and scroll. The eagles have a star on their neck. Year at the bottom.
