Against the background of the flag there are: the semicircular inscription - НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above, under which - the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, the coin face value – 2/ГРИВНІ (2/hryvnias); to the left – the lion (from the WUPR coat of arms); beneath, between the ornamentation patterns, the coin issue year - 2008 and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (on the right).

Реверс

There is depicted a group of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen under the flag and the arc-forming legend 90 РОКІВ УТВОРЕННЯ (90 years of establishment of) and ЗУНР (WUPR).
