There is depicted the portrait of Taras Shevchenko with facsimile, on the both sides of the portrait there is a composition consisting of characters of his poems; there are the semicircular inscriptions: above - НЕ ВМИРАЄ ДУША НАША ("Our Spirit Never Can be Downed") beneath - НЕ ВМИРАЄ ВОЛЯ ("Our Striving To Be Free").
