Crowned one-tailed rampant lion holding a curved halberd (symbol of Norway) inside a laurel wreath. King's motto outside with date under the wreath. Mintmark is between lion's legs. "F" is between front and back legs and "G" is between lion's back legs. Beaded ring on the rim. (The Lord will be my providence.)
