A symbolic image of the coin with 25 small circles along the outer edge of the coin’s ring, which symbolise the 25 years of the introduction of the kuna as the monetary unit in the Republic of Croatia, is positioned within the coin core. The central part of the coin core features the number “25”, marking the anniversary year. The outlines of the number “25” reveal an image of a marten turned to the right, with the marten’s body integrated with the numeral. The inscription “OBLJETNICA UVOĐENJA KUNE” (ANNIVERSARY OF THE INTRODUCTION OF THE KUNA) is laid out circularly above the core, in the top section of the coin’s ring. The dates “30. 5. 1994. – 30. 5. 2019.” are inscribed below the core circularly along the lower section within the ring.
