The obverse depicts the 2022 Raphael Maklouf Queen Elizabeth II effigy with Latin inscription: ELIZABETH II.D.G.REGINA.GIBRALTAR, which translates to Elizabeth Il by the Grace of God, Queen of Gibraltar', and includes the denominational value and the year in which the coin is struck. Reverse: The first photograph on the coin shows Princess Elizabeth Il (later Queen Elizabeth I) with her husband, Prince Philip on their honeymoon. Following their wedding reception, the couple stayed in Broadlands, Hampshire which is the home of Philip's uncle, the Eari Mountbatten of Burma. The bottom photograph shows Queen Elizabeth Il and the Duke of Bdinburgh posing for a photograph on their Diamond Anniversary recreating the photograph on their honeymoon. Philip is the longest-serving consort in British history with the Queen referring to her beloved husband as her Strength and Stay. The photographs are divided by a sceptre entwined with sprigs of oak inspired by the House of Windsor Crest, with St Edward's crown, the official coronation crown featured at both ends and the shield of the Royal Coat of Arms in the centre. The inscription reads 'I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong' taken from Princess Elizabeth's speech in 1947 as she dedicated her life to the service of the Commonwealth.
