At the centre of the coin is the top of the Elizabeth Tower housing Big Ben, a reference to England. On the right side of the design a player is running with a ball under his arm. At the left of the coin, the English flag is depicted in heraldry on a shield. The name « England / Angleterre » follows the outline of the coin.
