Under the facial value surrounded by two branches, between waves, is written the legend: "JEUX MEDITERRANEENS". On the circumference, the three rings of the Mediterranean games are situated in the middle of the date, and the upper part is occupied by the motto: "LIBERTY - EQUALITY - FRATERNITY".
