- Head of King Leopold II of Belgium with beard, facing left, surrounded by motto in French. (Leopold the Second, King of the Belgians)
- Reverse
- Coat of arms of Belgium with grand collar of the Order of Leopold. Two sceptres with hand of justice and lion behind. Motto in French above. (Unity makes strength)
