- Head of King Albert I facing left, with surrounding French text, designer name below (Albert, King of the Belgians)
- Reverse
- The Belgian coat of arms dividing the value and year, with designer's initials below. In the coat of arms the collar of Order of Leopold has face-to-face monograms "LR" ("Leopoldus Rex" for King Leopold I).
