Description
5 Centimes from France. Issued from 1938 to 1939. Struck in Nickel silver (60% Copper, 20% Nickel, 20% Zinc). Measures 17 mm and weighs 1.5 g.
- Obverse
- The hole is surrounded by two oak branches, the letters RF and a Phrygian cap on top. The size of the hole can be either small or large.
- Reverse
- The value divided horizontally by the center hole with the French motto at the top and the date at the bottom flanked by dots (Liberty Equality Fraternity 5 Centimes 1939)
