100 Lire from Italy. Issued in 1979. Struck in Acmonital. Measures 27.8 mm and weighs 8 g.
- Obverse
- Young female head facing left with a long braid and wheat sprigs on hair (a representation of the Goddess Ceres). Country name above around the rim. Below the head a small flower and the name of the engraver. (Italian Republic)
- Reverse
- In the field, cow nursing calf decentralized to the left, to the right the indication of the value on two lines, plus the date. The mintmark is at left of cow, near the rim. In the background depiction of meridians and parallels to symbolize the world. (Feeding the World 100 Lire FAO)
