20 Cents from Zimbabwe (1980-date). Issued from 1980 to 1997. Struck in Copper-nickel. Measures 23 mm and weighs 5.6 g.
- Obverse
- Representation of the protective bird, the most famous of Zimbabwe sculptures dated between XII and XIV century. Protective sculpture in the city of Great Zimbabwe, the capital of Monomotapa Empire and led Gokomere ancestors of Shona, the people of southern Africa.
- Reverse
- The Birchenough Bridge on the Sabi River in Manicaland Province in the far eastern Zimbabwe. It takes its name from the company director having realized, Sir Henry Birchenough.
