10 Francs from France. Issued in 1985. Struck in Copper-aluminium-nickel. Measures 26 mm and weighs 10 g.
- Obverse
- An open book with a writing quill across it, an antique theater mask reminding us that Hugo was also a playwright, and various characters and elements from Les Misérables: Notre-Dame de Paris in the background, a barricade over which Gavroche straddles, Cosette.
