5 Cents from Cyprus. Issued in 1983. Struck in Nickel brass (70% Copper, 24.5% Zinc, 5.5% Nickel). Measures 22 mm and weighs 3.75 g.
- Obverse
- Cyprus coat of arms (A dove holding an olive twig and the independence year 1960), laurel twigs around. Country name (Cyprus) in Greek, Turkish and English.
- Reverse
- Shows an exhibit to be found in the Cyprus Museum in Nicosia. It is a fourteenth century B.C. silver bowl with wishbone handle. The value 5 below.
