2 Euros from Finland. Issued in 2007. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.
- Obverse
- The coin shows a nine-oar boat with rowers, symbolizing collaboration. The year of issue, 2007, and the year of independence, 1917, appear above and below the image, respectively. The mint mark appears to the left of the oars and ‘FI’ for Finland to the right. The outer ring of the coin features the 12 stars of the European Union.
