Description
5 Centimes from Luxembourg. Issued from 1854 to 1870. Struck in Bronze. Measures 25.24 mm and weighs 5 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned Luxembourgish shield with a lion with a forked tail, rampant to the left on a field of ten pieces, surrounded by the legend between an inner circle and an external pearled circle flanked by a star at the bottom (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg)
- Reverse
- Crown of laurel branches and oak surrounding the face value and the mint year in three lines and the name of the engraver surmounted by a point or the letter A at the bottom along with a ring of pearls on the outer rim
