The Presidency of the European Union was entrusted to Slovenia between January and June 2008. Inscription meaning: "Presidency of the European Union January-June 2008 - The facts will speak". Veiled star with five branches. The sail-like shape of the star's branches is intended to symbolize Slovenia's desire to place its Presidency under the sign of dynamism and results.
