Description
2 Reichsmark from Germany (1871-1948). Issued from 1936 to 1939. Struck in Silver (.625). Measures 25 mm and weighs 8 g.
- Obverse
- An eagle holding a wreath of oak leaves above the swastika in the middle of the wreath, denomination on the sides. (2 Reichs Mark German Reich 1939)
- Reverse
- A large portrait of Paul von Hindenburg facing right with the mintmark between Hindenburg's neck and '1847', legend around.
- Edge
- Smooth with inscription. End and beginning of legend separate by floral design. (Common Good Takes Priority over Self-interest)
