Description
5 Francs from Luxembourg. Issued in 1949. Struck in Copper-nickel (75% Copper, 25% Nickel). Measures 25.5 mm and weighs 7 g.
- Obverse
- Effigy to the left of Charlotte (1896-1985), Grand Duchess of Luxembourg from 1919 to 1964, signature of the engraver under the portrait, surrounded by the legend and the date of emission between two points.
- Reverse
- Face value in the center, surmounted by the royal crown, on the sides a rosebush branch, at the bottom the word "Frang". The initials of the engraver are located at the bottom of the roses. (5 francs)
