Description
1 Liard from Prince-bishopric of Liege. Issued from 1750 to 1752. Struck in Copper. Measures 23 mm and weighs 3.1 g.
- Obverse
- Shield with concave sides containing quartered Bavaria-Palatinate arms, over crossed crozier and sword, and topped with electoral cap. (Cardinal John Theodore, by God's grace, Duke of Bavaria...)
- Reverse
- Five coats of arms arranged in cross shape with digits of the date in the angles. Arms are Loon (top), Franchimont (right), Horne (bottom), Bouillon (left), Liege (center). (Prince-bishop of Liège, duke of Bouillon, Marquis of Franchimont, Count of Loon and Horne)
