2000 Réis from Brazil. Issued from 1924 to 1934. Struck in Silver (.500). Measures 26 mm and weighs 8 g.
- Obverse
- Face value of "2000 RÉIS" flanked by branches of coffee and tobacco; just above a Consular Beam. (Republic of the United States of Brazil 2000 Réis 1924)
- Reverse
- In a circle, a female figure representing the Republic. In her head, and gird up the neck, the Phrygian cap (cap of liberty) ornamented with laurels, all surrounded by 21 stars (one for each state).
