5 Euro Cents - Albert II from Belgium. Issued from 2009 to 2013. Struck in Copper plated steel. Measures 21.25 mm and weighs 3.92 g.

Obverse
The left profile portrait of King Albert II (modified from the one on the 1999-2007 coins) is surrounded by the twelve stars of the Union, between two of which are the letters BE for "Belgium" and the royal monogram: an A with the numeral II underneath, topped by a crown. As of 2009, the effigy is again the same as on the 1999-2007 coins, because the change of effigy in 2008 was contrary to the recommendations of the ECOFIN Council.
Reverse
A globe locating Europe in the world is drawn on a dynamic canvas composed of the twelve stars of the European Union.
