Description
1 Centesimo from Italy. Issued from 1908 to 1918. Struck in Copper. Measures 15 mm and weighs 1 g.
- Obverse
- Half bust of King Vittorio Emanuele III facing left (Vittorio Emanuele III King of Italy)
- Reverse
- Female figure representing Italy standing tall on a prow of a ship, with a branch of olive in her right hand. Value and date are above, the mintmark is on the prow while initials of author and engraver are incused in the side of the ship. NOTE: all the coins have the mintmark in relief on the prow, except for the coin dated 1910 where is incused.
