- At the top is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine; at the bottom, the year of issue - 2005, surrounded by ancient ornaments and a three-line inscription: UKRAINE / 1 / Hryvnia as well as the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine. (Ukraine 1 Hryvnia 2005)
