5 Centavos from Mexico. Issued from 1936 to 1942. Struck in Copper-nickel. Measures 20.5 mm and weighs 4 g.

Obverse
The Mexican coat of arms (a Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus devouring a rattlesnake. At the base there is a holm oak (Encina) branch on one side and a laurel branch on the other) and the country name above (United Mexican States)
Reverse
The outer circles of the Mexica, or Aztec, Sun Stone, with the year, mintmark (M), and 5 Centavos, in the center.
