2 Hryvni from Ukraine. Issued in 2009. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 31 mm and weighs 12.8 g.

Obverse

There are depicted a diagram and formula fragments from the theory of nonlinear oscillations and theoretical physics, against the dark background above there are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine, semicircular inscription (National Bank of Ukraine) and the Mint logo of the National bank of Ukraine; below against the light background there are the face value (2 Hryvni) beneath and coin issue year (to the left).

Reverse

In the center there is a portrait of N. Bogolyubov, against the light background there is a formula fragment; below against the dark background there are the semicircular legend (Mykola Boholiubov) and years of his life 1909 (to the left) and 1992 (to the right).
