Reverse
Image of woman's head from the reverse of the 1932 10 Złote coins. This is superimposed on the normal reverse of this 2006 coin. The artist (Antoni Madeyski) of the 1932 reverse, designing an idealized image of the Polish community, was inspired by Janina Żółtowska's facial features. For him, she represented perfect beauty. Due to the fact that the appearance of Janina Żółtowska reminded Madeyski of Queen Jadwiga, symbolically, many people erroneously attribute this image to the Polish Queen.
Edge
Inscripted with "NBP" repeated in alternating orientation, separated by stars.
