Description
2 Euros - Benedictus XVI from Vatican City. Issued from 2008 to 2013. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.
- Obverse
- The three-quarter portrait of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI is surrounded by the inscription "CITTA' DEL VATICANO" and the date on top and on the side, on his shoulders the inscriptions "D.L." the name of the designer Daniela Longo and "M.C.C INC." the name of Maria Carmela Colaneri the engraver.
