Description
1 Kuna from Croatia. Issued in 1999. Struck in Nickel brass (65% Copper, 23.2% Zinc, 11.8% Nickel). Measures 22.5 mm and weighs 5 g.
- Obverse
- A placed marten running to the right in the center and the value in numerals on its outstretched body and the word "KUNA" below with the country name in Croatian around the edge above and the arms of Croatia in the center of the bottom edge of the coin with stylized wheat ears to the left side and stylized olive branch with fruits to the right (Croatian Republic)
- Reverse
- A nightingale facing left in the center and the name of the bird along the edge and the date in the middle of the lower edge along with the engraver's signature by the nightingale's foot (Nightingale)
