5 Escudos from Portugal. Issued in 1960. Struck in Silver (.650) (Copper .350). Measures 25 mm and weighs 7 g.
- Obverse
- Bust of Prince Henry the Navigator facing three-quarters left wearing hat surrounded by a Gothic style French legend that reads "Talant de bien faire", meaning "The will of well-doing". This has been a motto of the Portuguese Navy as a tribute to Prince Henry the Navigator. (Portuguese Republic)
- Reverse
- The Portuguese national shield: five shields with a ⚄ design arranged in a + shape surrounded by seven castle towers. It's surrounded by legends.
