Description
5 Lipa from Croatia. Issued in 1996. Struck in Brass plated steel (Plating: 72.5% Copper, 27.5% Zinc). Measures 18 mm and weighs 2.5 g.
- Obverse
- In the central part is shown stylized linden branch in inflorescence and on the leaves is written the value of the coin (5). Under the number is written inscription "LIPA" (linden). Around the top edge is written "REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA" (The Republic of Croatia). Around the lower edge, in the central part, is the coat of arms of Republic of Croatia.
- Reverse
- In the central part of the coin is showed the symbol of the Croatian Olympic comittee. Above the symbol is a bowl with stylized Olympic flame and under the symbol is written "ATLANTA". Along the upper edge is written "Olympic games" on Croatian (OLIMPIJSKE IGRE) and along the bottom edge is written the year of minting (1996.).
