Alongside the upper edge is written NEZAVISNA DRŽAVA and alongside the bottom edge is written HRVATSKA. In the central part of the coin is the old Croatian coat of arms with letter U above. The letter is inside the Croatian interlace with three-ribbon pattern. (The Independent State of Croatia)
