10 Euros from Federal Republic of Germany. Issued in 2005. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 32.5 mm and weighs 18 g.
- Obverse
- The stylized German federal eagle in the shape of a football, the traditional symbol of German sovereignty, is surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union, the name of the state "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the year of issue and the face value "10 EURO".
- Reverse
- In a shape reminiscent of a soccer ball, players score a goal seen through the net. All around the shape the inscription "FIFA FUSSBALL - WELTMEISTERSCHAFT DEUTSCHLAND 2006 -" (FIFA soccer - world cup Germany 2006).
- Edge
- Smooth with inscription NOTE: Mint is determined by which letter "E" in the edge inscription has a short center bar. If the first letter "E" has the short center bar the coin is from the Berlin mint. Second "E"= Munich, third "E"=Stuttgart, fourth "E"=Karlsruhe, fifth "E"=Hamburg
