10 Euros from Federal Republic of Germany. Issued in 2008. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 32.5 mm and weighs 18 g.
- Obverse
- The stylized federal eagle, the traditional symbol of German sovereignty, with the twelve stars of the European Union on the side. Under the eagle is the name of the state "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" and the face value "10 EURO". On the right side of the eagle is the letter "F" of the Stuttgart workshop and the year of issue.
- Reverse
- Left profile of the German physicist Max Planck, a representation of the radiation spectrum with the inscription "150 GEBURTSTAG MAX PLANCK" (150th birthday of Max Plack). Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918 for his work in quantum theory. He is one of the founders of quantum mechanics.
