- Map of the historical center of Évora, the coat of arms of Portugal and the inscriptions "REPUBLICA PORTUGUESA" the issuing country, "5 euro" the face value, "INCM" the mark of the monetary workshop, "E. BYRNE" the signature of the collector Eloisa Byrne and "2004" the year.
- Reverse
- Representation of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption of Évora, which is the largest cathedral in Portugal. It was completed in 1250. The historic center of Évora was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986.
