- Obverse
- The piece is divided into two parts. The lower part symbolizes the frosted ground in wartime. The upper part symbolizes clear skies and peace. From the hard earth, where only thorns have sprouted, a plant blooms as it grows and spreads across the free surface.
- Reverse
- A dove carrying a branch in its beak. Below is the first chain from which the dove was released, as well as the symbol of the Europa Coins Program.
