2 New Sheqalim from Israel. Issued in 5752. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 38.7 mm and weighs 28.8 g.
- Obverse
- Face value in Hebrew and English, 2 New Sheqel on the Silver B.U. Coin, 5 New Sheqalim on the Gold Coin. To the left of the face value is the Israel State Emblem, around the border is the word "ISRAEL" in Hebrew, Arabic and English and the mint year 1992 / 5752.
- Reverse
- In the center, a stylized star of David. On the right, three of its angles form the outline of a sportsman in a starting position, on the left, two angles of the star form the outline of a stadium. Parallel lines on either side symbolize strength and movement. Around the lower border is the inscription "THE IX PARALYMPIC GAMES BARCELONA '92" . Around the upper border is the same inscription in Hebrew.
