Description
50 Centavos from Mexico. Issued from 1905 to 1918. Struck in Silver (.800) (Copper .200). Measures 30 mm and weighs 12.5 g.
- Obverse
- Eagle exposing chest, with snake on beak, standing on a cactus on the middle of a lake. At bottom an oak and laurel branches tied together. With legend on top half-circle. (United Mexican States)
- Reverse
- Liberty cap on top irradiating light. Value at center with mint mark between the numbers. Unit below and date under it. An oak and laurel branches tied at bottom. (50 Cents Mexico City Mint 1908)
- Edge
- Smooth with lettering. (Independence and Liberty)
